Farmers State
Bank was established in 1892 in Mentone, Indiana. Farmers State
Bank prides itself on being able to give the personal attention
the larger banks can't offer.
Since 1892,
Farmers State Bank has continued to grow. The bank expanded to Warsaw
in 1978 with the opening of the Northgate Branch. The East Center
Street Branch followed shortly after in 1984. The expansion continued
in Kosciusko County with the opening of the Leesburg branch in 1989.
The most recent branch of Farmers State Bank is in the Wawasee Village
in Syracuse, which opened in 1995. In the fall of 1999 the banks
trust department moved to 120 E. Center St., Warsaw. We also opened
a loan office in the Rochester area in 1999.
